Hormone Test – With the help of blood test various thyroid hormones can be measured. This indicates how your thyroid is functioning. If the level of thyroid hormone is high and TSH is low in the blood it will point to the overactive thyroid and if the level of thyroid hormone is low and TSH is high it point to the underactive thyroid.
